Movado Names Doshi and Levien Future Legends

London-based design studio Doshi Levien‘s Nipa Doshi and Jonathan Levien are among Movado‘s 2007 Future Legends, an award recognizing those that are “undoubtedly on the path to becoming major forces in their fields.” Doshi and Levien were selected by Paul Warwick Thompson, director of the Cooper-Hewitt National Design Museum.

Indian-born Doshi, met Levien, a native of Scotland, at London’s Royal College of Art, from which they graduated in 1997. After working individually for such designers as David Chipperfield and Ross Lovegrove, they set up Doshi Levien in 2000, the same year they wed.
