The November Arbitron ratings show no change at the top with WLTW and WCBS-FM, one and two respectively.
WHTZ had a return engagement at number three. The Clear Channel CHR shot up .4 to 5.1, edging ahead of sister station WKTU with no gain at 5.0. The company’s Classic Rocker WAXQ was next with a 4.3, off slightly from last month’s 4.5.
A couple of stations register 3.8—Inner City’s WBLS (down from 3.9 in October) and Spanish station WSKQ (up from 3.7).
The first of the city’s all-news stations making the survey is CBS’ WINS, holding steady with a 3.5, tying for 10th place. WCBS-AM, though, fell .6 to a 3.0.
Then there’s WEMP, the FM newser saw a 50 percent jump to a .6. Another indicator of WEMP’s growing audience, the CUME rose from 470,000 to 589,500.
Also on the lower end of the rating sheet, Bloomberg Radio/WBBR, taking two steps back to a .7.
As for sports radio, WFAN and WEPN/ESPN saw no gains for the month. However, WFAN is at 3.2, while ESPN is at 1.5.
