More Bee Downsizing

On Oct. 1, 29 staffers at the Bee received notice that their jobs had been cut.

“It was pretty much a surprise, at least to us on sort of the ground level,” reporter Niesha Lofing told Capital Public Radio. “But it felt for a while that there might be an axe that would fall although none of us really were anticipating this.”
