Mike Pride Named Pulitzer Administrator

candidates_sigs_gatsasMike Pride, the former editor of New Hampshire’s Concord Monitor, has been named the Pulitzer Prizes’ new administrator. Pride joined the Pulitzer board in 1999 and served as its co-chair in 2008, his final year on the board.

During Pride’s tenure as editor of the Monitor, the paper won the New England Newspaper of the Year Award 19 times. It won a Pulitzer for feature photography as well.

“I am deeply honored to have been chosen as administrator,” Pride said, in a statement.
