Microsoft Might Buy Yahoo

A close relationship could become closer.

Microsoft, a longtime business partner of Yahoo, is interested in buying the internet company. Again.

According to Reuters, “Private equity firms interested in Yahoo approached Microsoft,” and Microsoft execs are listening.

If a deal goes through, it’s second time’s a charm for Microsoft. Back in 2008 the company made a $45 billion bid for Yahoo, but nothing came of it.

Microsoft is the latest big name player to enter the Yahoo sale party. Verizon and Time Inc. have also expressed interest in buying the company.
