Here’s one of those instances where we turn to the excellent coverage of People, which as we all know, is the bible of design news. It appears a certain Mick Jagger was spotted checking out the “Piranesi as Designer” show at the Cooper-Hewitt last week:
“The Rolling Stone frontman, sporting jeans and a t-shirt, walked around the Upper East Side museum with his son, Lucas, 8, and even bought the catalogs for the museum’s two shows.”
Interesting. We always pictured him as more of a Ingo Maurer kind of guy. If only he’d waited until this week, when admission to the museum is free in honor of National Design Week. Oh, did we mention that yet? Happy National Design Week, one and all.
