WQED May Be Set for Another Michael Keaton Shout Out
The former PBS cameraman is the odds-on favorite to win Best Actor, Comedy or Musical
A number of film awards pundits are predicting it will be a big night Sunday at the Beverly Hilton for Michael Keaton and Birdman. In advance of an odds-on acceptance from Bat-Birdman, we thought we’d set the stage with this gem from last summer:
Keaton, who is three years older than the PBS Channel 13 outlet, spoke recently in Los Angeles with freelance writer Joe Coskey (for Hong Kong’s Prestige magazine) about those early Pittsburgh-to-the-great unknown days.
