Mic has named Cory Haik chief strategy officer. Haik comes to the company from The Washington Post, where she most recently served as executive director of emerging news products.
Recode reports that chief strategy officer is new role at Mic.
Haik has been with WaPo since 2010. She previously served as assistant managing editor of seattletimes.com and managing editor of Nola.com.
