Mexican Newspaper Pleas to Drug Lords After Second Murdered Journalist

In the U.S., often journalists’ biggest worry relates to how quickly a source returns a call or the business model of the changing media culture. But it’s easy to forget what journalists elsewhere have to deal with on a day-to-day basis, just to do their job.

And in the drug battles raging along the Mexican/U.S. border, we got a reminder that sometimes the duties of journalists throw them into a heated issue, leading to attacks. No better example of this than what has happened in Mexico as drug wars continue to grip the country.
