Megan Liberman Named Editor-in-Chief of Yahoo! News

Yahoo! News has named Megan Liberman its editor-in-chief. Liberman was most recently deputy news editor of The New York Times. Liberman will be tasked with expanding Yahoo! News’ team and creating new features for the site.

Liberman was previously The New York Times Magazine’s deputy editor and first online editor. She also created the popular parenting blog, Motherlode.

“Megan is a dynamic addition to the Yahoo News team,” said Robertson Barrett, VP of Yahoo! News and Finance, in a statement.
