Media General Says 'Lines Between Different Types Of Media Less Relevant'; Plans Restructure

Somebody’s getting it! Media General, owner of TV stations, newspapers, and over 75 web sites, announced in a 10-Q filing today that effective at the beginning of the third quarter, it’s restructuring its operations from a Broadcast unit, a Publishing unit, and an Interactive unit into five geographically-oriented units.

Presumably this means that the people in charge of the Tampa Tribune will be the same people in charge of WFLA Tampa, who will be the same people in charge of TampaTrib.com.
