Media Babies: Kai Etan Robin!

Since it's the weekend, we're bored and we forgot to do this two weeks ago, we thought you might like to meet a new media arrival: Kai Etan Robin. Kai's father is Josh Robin, Political Reporter, NY1 News. Mom is Manoush Zomorodi, a regular around the 'Bistro offices, as she teaches a few of our courses. What will Kai's first media job be? Dairy industry beat reporter, according to Manoush. Kai Etan Robin, in Dad's arms Manoush Zomorodi, holding Kai Here's what mom and dad, Manoush and Josh, had to say about him: Just wanted to give you our happy news! Our son was born Saturday at 4:45 p.m. [June 23, 2007] at Lenox Hill Hospital. He's 7 lb 6 oz. We couldn't feel more blessed. He's a beautiful, healthy, lovely little boy. And Mom feels as fine and delighted as can be, if tired. He's so lucky to have such good friends and relatives. Thanks for our wishes. Much love, Josh and Manoush ps Some have also asked what Kai Etan means. Kai we just liked. It means a lot of things in different languages, including German. It is of Welsh, Scandinavian and Greek origin, and its meaning is "keeper of the keys; earth". Kai is also a Hawaiian name meaning "the sea". Etan is after Josh's grandmother Evelyn, who went by Ettie. It is Hebrew and means strong. We at the 'bistro wish Manoush, Josh and Kai all happiness.
