Are you a 20-something male who’s always wanted Maxim toothpaste? How about Maxim socks? If you are, we’re sorry to hear that, but we do have some good news for you. Joe Mangione, the CEO of Alpha Media Group, parent company of Maxim, has announced that the magazine has signed a new brand licensing deal with IMG.
Mangione says that Maxim, despite failing at using its brand on a number of things in the past, will succeed this time. “This is the first meaningful, strategic worldwide licensing effort. It’s definitely a multimillion dollar business.”
So yes, good news for you Maxim readers. Now spray yourself down with some Axe, and go find some crappy stuff that a crappy magazine put its name on and buy it.
