Maxim Korea Cover Glamorizes Violence Against Women

This is gross.

CN00MouWIAAOqle.jpg-largeThe latest cover of Maxim’s Korea edition glamorizes violence against women. It’s not even subtle. At least try to hide the misogyny.

The cover features actor Kim Byung-Ok (who is known for his action movie roles), leisurely smoking a cigarette while hovering over a naked and bound woman hanging halfway out of a car’s trunk. Hey, just another day in the life of a Cool Guy, right?

We look forward to Maxim Korea’s next cover, which we hear will simply have “BEAT, RAPE AND KILL WOMEN” printed on the front.
