Matea Gold of the LA Times Goes to Washington
Our sister blog TV Newser has the scoop: Matea Gold is taking a job with the Washington DC bureau of the Tribune Co. Gold is currently a television media reporter for the New York bureau of the Los Angeles Times. She’ll start at her new gig after labor day, where she’ll be helping out with midterm election coverage.
Tribune Co. is the parent company of the LAT, so while Gold is changing beats and cities, she’s not changing bosses.
