Martin Miller is the New LAT TV Editor

Martin Miller has been named The Times new television editor, effective immediately.

Martin, who has been both a reporter and an editor in Calendar since 2004, will oversee a TV team that includes two critics, four reporters, a slew of freelance contributors and such popular blogs as Show Tracker and Idol Tracker. Through A1, Calendar and Sunday cover stories, essays and critical reviews, blog posts and photo galleries, Martin’s multimedia team will chronicle television’s impact on society and the group will examine the changing nature of news, the comings and goings of TV shows and personalities, and the national fascination with such reality shows as “Jon & Kate Plus 8” and “The Real Housewives of Atlanta.”
