Mark Your Calendar: A Celebration of Eva Zeisel

Best known for her sensuous ceramics, industrial designer Eva Zeisel died late last year, but her legacy lives on and will be celebrated tomorrow–which would have been her 106th birthday. A Public Space and PEN American Center are teaming up to present “Eva Zeisel: The Life of a Remarkable Woman,” a tribute to the life and work of the self-described “maker of things” that begins tomorrow at 7:30 p.m. at New York’s Strand Bookstore. Friends and admirers of her work, including the writer and historian Istvan Deak and art historian Karen Kettering, will discuss Zeisel’s remarkable achievements.
