Mark Teixeira Loves Patch

Patch is an up and down venture, but one person who seems to love the local news network no matter what is Yankees first basemen Mark Teixeira.
According to a Patch spokesperson, Teixeira stopped by a Greenwich Patch event last night and posed for pictures while telling editors that he’s a big fan of the site. He even said that he follows his hometown of Severna Park, Maryland’s Patch.
It’s nice to see the Yankees supporting journalism, even if it would be much nicer to see them playing right now.
