Mark Gongloff Joins Fortune

He'll serve as digital editor.

Mark Gongloff has been named digital editor of Fortune. Gongloff comes to the magazine from The Huffington Post, where he served as managing editor for business and technology.

Gongloff had been with HuffPost since 2012. He was previously a reporter and markets editor for The Wall Street Journal and CNN/Money.

“Mark’s responsibilities will include working with Adam Lashinsky to oversee our online tech coverage, which has been supercharged by the addition of a half-dozen experienced reporters from the now-defunct tech web site Gigaom,” wrote Fortune editor Alan Murray, in a memo.
