Marilyn Monroe's Estate Loses in Court/Photog's Family Prevails
The family of Sam Shaw, a photographer who took some of Marilyn Monroe’s best-known photos, won in court when a Federal judge ruled against the company that controls the licensing of Monroe’s image. Tens of millions are at stake, according to the attorneys for Marilyn Monroe LLC.
Countersuits are planned, of course.
