Margot Robbie Surprised by Vanity Fair Article Uproar

VanityFairAugust2016CoverThe Suicide Squad star says she has read much worse than “The Summer of Margot Robbie.” Nevertheless, Rich Cohen’s Vanity Fair August issue cover story caused a social media uproar when it was posted earlier this month, with readers far and wide accusing the longtime magazine contributor of sexism.

The Australian actress admits she thought the interview session that led to the article felt “odd.” She also told Down Under TV program The Project that she wasn’t quite as outraged as the masses:

“I’ve read far more offensive, far more sexist, insulting, derogatory, disgusting things on a daily basis,” Robbie said.
