Man Who Penned Iconic 'Headless Body in Topless Bar' Headline is Retiring
Vincent A. Musetto, the man behind the New York Post iconic headline “Headless Body in Topless Bar,” is retiring.
Musetto has been with the Post for 40 years, and was given a send-off by staffers last night.
The iconic headline is widely praised as one of the best in tabloid newspaper history, but Musetto didn’t think that was his best work. He actually preferred “Granny Executed in Her Pink Pajamas.”
Not bad. Not bad at all.
