Malls: Daniel Libeskind Doesn't Mind Them, Jonathan Glancey Does

While starchitect Daniel Libeskind doesn’t mind designing shopping malls, saying in a recent interview that “Architects for a long time thoughts malls were beneath their dignity, but if you bring nature and culture into the building, you can make it a radically different place,” he might find himself butting heads with the Guardian‘s architecture critic, Jonathan Glancey, who absolutely hates them, particularly the massive new one in London called Westfield, a multi-billion dollar palace of shopping.
