With the long, strangely tropical holiday season behind us, we were eager to get back to our weekly beat covering the movers and shakers who dine and dish at 55th & Fifth. In keeping with the somewhat sleepy mood of these first uneventful days of 2007 (unless, of course, you work for Rudy Giuliani) the frenetic pace and non stop parade of celebs that kept our head spinning in December had been, at least for today, replaced by a quiet hum of behind-the-scenes execs easing into the new year with their spanking new Treos in one hand, Diet Coke in the other.
