Long Awaited Layoffs Come to Metro Traffic in New Jersey

In April, Clear Channel purchased Westwood One’s Metro Traffic. Fast forward six months, Clear Channel has now pulled the trigger on a handful of personnel cuts at the Rutherford, New Jersey studios.

Radio-info.com reports three staffers were let go today–Mike Weinstein, Brian Duhaime, and Kathy Hogan. Weinstein handled the morning operations and was a regular fill-in traffic reporter on 1010 WINS.

Duhaime is the son of veteran Metro Traffic anchor Debbie Duhaime.

Hogan, with the company since 1988, was a research director.
