Layoffs at Woman's Day?
Earlier today, we received an anonymous tip that Woman’s Day laid off six staffers — including the style director and food managing editor — last night:
Woman’s Day cut 6 people from the staff last night, including two pregnant women. The style director, editorial assistant in the style department, the food managing editor, a production person and two designers were all laid off. Leaving the staff with about 20 people to produce a 17-times-per-year publication (and possibly the SIPs who just laid off most of their staff).
