Laura Schocker Named Online Exec Editor of Real Simple
Laura Schocker has been named executive editor of Real Simple’s site, RealSimple.com. Schocker comes to the magazine from The Huffington Post, where she served as executive editor of the Healthy Living vertical.
Schocker had been with HuffPost since 2011. Prior to that she worked for Prevention and The Knot.
“Laura’s experience creating quality lifestyle content perfectly aligns with our mission to improve the lives of women every day,” said Lori Leibovich, editor of Realsimple.com, in a statement. “I am thrilled to welcome Laura to the team and look forward to working together to expand our daily coverage and grow our digital footprint.”
Schocker begins her new role June 16; she’ll report to Leibovich.
