LAMoCA Returns to Original Logo, Shepard Fairey's Mural Has Already Been Tagged

With a new director coming in (Jeffrey Deitch, of course), it was apparently time to re-do everything at Los Angeles’ Museum of Contemporary Art. Hence the launch of their new logo. Or rather, the launch of their old logo as their new one. The Museum has returned to the boxy, shape-based branding they had at their birth, by designer Ivan Chermayeff. Though they’ve told the LA TimesChristopher Knight that they plan on perhaps altering and updating the logo a bit, it’s what they’re rolling with for now.
