LA Justice Report Nominated For LA Press Club Award

A little horn tooting if you don’t mind. The LA Justice Report, an investigative journalism collaboration between Witness LA and Spot.us, of which yours truly is the lead reporter, was named a finalist in the online news/investigative category of this year’s LA Press Club Awards. Though we published a three-part series on the city of LA’s gang reduction program, my story “Follow the Gang Money, Part 2: The Interventionists” was the one singled out for the honor.
