L.A. Art Weekend Kicks Off Thursday
Miami has its Basel blitz, New York its amply-satellited Armory Show, but where’s a left coaster to go for an annual megadose of art and design? The creative types at Black Frame (who dazzled us back in February with their top-notch production of Rodarte‘s fall ’08 runway show) have been working — in collaboration with the new website ForYourArt — on an answer to that very question. They call it Los Angeles Art Weekend, and it kicks off on Thursday, as all good weekends should.
