KSL Rearranges Execs

The Mormon Church-owned Deseret News is making some changes, reports the Salt Lake Tribune.

Con Psarras, who has been broadcast arm KSL’s news director for eight years, is becoming the station’s vice president of editorials and special projects. Tanya Vea, formerly the news director at KSL competitor KUTV, will become KSL’s executive vice president of news and cross-platform development.

Both Vea and Psarras told the Salt Lake Tribune that the restructuring is meant to streamline operations “while enhancing their news gathering.”
