KISS FM Names Longtime Staffer Fred 'Bugsy' Buggs Assistant Program Director
With almost 20 years under his belt at Emmis New York, Fred “Bugsy” Buggs has held nearly every position at KISS FM/WRKS, or sister station Hot 97/WQHT. Now, Buggs has been named assistant program director at KISS. He’ll report to PD Jay Dixon.
Buggs is a former midday air personality at Hot 97, who also did on-air shifts in various dayparts on KISS. Currently, he is producer of the Tom Joyner Morning Show, a position he will maintain. In addition, fans will still hear Buggs spinning the tunes during his own show Saturdays from 3 p.m.
