KCRW Brings Back 'Metropolis' With Jason Bentley
KCRW is bringing back its late-night dance music show “Metropolis” with its original host Jason Bentley, reports West Coast Sound. The show ran from 1992 to 2008 before Bentley replaced Nic Harcourt as the host of the stations’ premier music show Morning Becomes Eclectic. Bentley will now do double-duty on the Saturday night 10-to-midnight Metropolis shift, along with his regular MBE weekday morning hosting gig.
“With MBE, I’ve needed to really contain the amount of outright dance music and electronic music,” Bentley tells West Coast Sound.
