Jonah Lehrer’s Publisher Runs Ads Telling Stores to Send Back His Book
The hits keep coming for Jonah Lehrer and those involved with promoting his work. According to paidContent, Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, the publisher of Lehrer’s Imagine — which contained fabricated Bob Dylan quotes — is running digital ads asking bookstores to send back the book for a full refund.
“HMH is asking retail and wholesale accounts to stop selling copies of IMAGINE and to return unsold inventory to the publisher for full credit,” reads the ad.
The notice was spotted in an email newsletter that targets booksellers.
