John Korpics to Redesign Entertainment Weekly

While Michael Bierut and his crack Pentagram team are busy brainstorming on how best to retool The Atlantic Monthly, another redesign will be in the works at Entertainment Weekly. According to WWD, John Korpics will take on EW‘s redesign as a consultant. The revamp proposed by Korpics, a veteran of EW who left to serve as design director of Esquire and creative director at In Style, reportedly beat out those presented by Richard Baker, Paula Scher, and former EW design director Geraldine Hessler.
