One-Man Show Highlights the Brilliance of Horse Racing Columnist Joe Palmer

This Friday at the National Museum of Racing and Hall of Fame in Saratoga Springs.

A very special event is set to take place this Friday at the National Museum of Racing and Hall of Fame in Saratoga Springs, N.Y. Members of the institution and lucky visitors will be treated to just the second public performance of This Was Racing: An Evening with Joe Palmer.

The one-man show by Walter May (pictured) is based on the book of the same name, published in 1953 a year after Palmer’s death and collected from the journalist’s “Views of the Turf” horse racing columns in the New York Herald Tribune.
