The Hollywood Reporter has named Joe Bel Bruno news director. Bel Bruno comes to THR from The Los Angeles Times, where he most recently served as editor of its Company Town section. He had been with the LA Times since 2011.
Prior to joining the LA Times, Bel Bruno worked for Dow Jones Newswire, The Wall Street Journal and the AP.
“Joe is an extremely smart and experienced editor with a deep understanding of the business of Hollywood,” said THR executive editor Matthew Belloni, in a statement.
