Tired of paying higher fake admission rates to museums? Not only is MoOM, the Museum of Online Museums, free, but while you visit, you can listen to an NPR segment featuring curator and design revolutionary Jim Coudal. With MoOM co-creator Kevin Guilfoile, Coudal holds his own as stodgy museology (seriously) types try to unseat the credibility of the online museum.

The story highlights one of our favorite collections, the Gallery of Skate Park IDs, and another winner, The Museum of Fred, made up of thrift store paintings. Or you could peruse MoOM’s newest addition, the Online Guide to Whistling Records. Says Coudal: “And don’t miss the section on vintage training records for parakeets and canaries.”
