Jerry Seinfeld to Call Tonight’s Mets Game

If you’re still somehow interested in the Mets, we have good news for you: Jerry Seinfeld is going to call tonights game. The New York Post reports that Seinfeld will start with SNY’s pregame show — Mets First Pitch — at 6 pm, and then move into the booth with Keith Hernandez, Ron Darling and Gary Cohen, as the Mets take on the San Francisco Giants.

This is the second time Seinfeld has called a Mets game. The first was June 23, 2010. The Mets blanked the Tigers 5-0 that game, so hopefully Seinfeld’s winning ways continue tonight.

If nothing else, at least Roger McDowell won’t be there spitting on people.
