Responding in kind over the weekend, reporters Jon Caramanica, Wesley Morris and Jenna Wortham quickly debated the merits of Beyoncé’s “Formation” in the pages of The New York Times Magazine. The superstar released the track Saturday and performed it a day later during the Super Bowl Halftime Show.

But the kicker came later, in the form of a thank you note to one of the trio. Per the tweet above, staff writer Wortham now has the Bey equivalent of a Pulitzer.
