Jasper Morrison's 'Crate': 'The Most Controversial Object in Design'

We love this one. As a little backstory, we look at the site Remodelista every morning, partially for the design stuff and simultaneously out of personal curiosity, as this writer just got himself into the home renovation game recently. The other day on the site, they posted design Jasper Morrison‘s “Crate,” an end table, retailing for $220, which really isn’t a ton considering how much designer-crafted furniture goes for. But the thing is, the name of the table is incredibly accurate, as it looks sorta like some wooden crate you’d find in the alley behind your local grocery store.
