If you’re at downtown Art Walk tonight- and you should be- stop by Metropolis Books for a reading with the Downtown Poets. The event starts at 7 p.m. and will feature local performance poets Sarah Cruse, Blackbird, Jennifer Campbell, Tiger Moon, and Richard McDowell. McDowell is the Downtown LA 2009 Poet Laureate, whatever that means. More info at the bookstore’s website.
