International New York Times Joins Japan Times for New Paper

The New York Times Company and The Japan Times are joining forces. The publishing agreement means that the Japan Times and the International New York Times will come packaged together in a new product creatively titled The Japan Times / International New York Times.

The publication will feature two sections and be distributed in Japan, Monday through Sunday Saturday. The first section is the regular Japan Times, edited by the same team that does it now. The second section will be edited in the International New York Times offices in Hong King, New York, Paris and London.
