Former Self magazine features director Stephanie Dolgoff has joined Health magazine as special projects director.
Dolgoff, the founder of the blog formerlyhot.com, joins the Time Inc. title with more than 20 years of industry experience, including stints at Glamour, Real Simple, Parenting and Cosmopolitan. A book based on her blog, Formerly Hot…Finally Content is due out this fall.

HEALTH NAMES STEPHANIE DOLGOFF SPECIAL PROJECTS DIRECTOR
(New York, NY), January 20, 2010 â€” Stephanie Dolgoff was named special projects director, Health magazine, effective immediately, it was announced today by Heath editor in chief Ellen Kunes. An industry veteran, Dolgoff joins the brand with more than 20 years of experience as a top-level editor at some of the leading women’s lifestyle titles.
As a former features director at Self, Dolgoff oversaw the production of the Breast Cancer Handbook, a 2005 winner of an ASME National Magazine Award in the personal service category. During her tenure there, she helped to edit the 15 Minutes to Your Best Self book (Gotham, 2007), and appeared on national broadcast outlets as a Self brand steward. She has also served as Executive Editor of Glamour, Contributing Editor of Real Simple, Editor-at-Large of Parenting, and Senior Articles Editor of Cosmopolitan.

A book based on her blog — Formerly Hot…Finally Content — hits bookstores in Fall 2010. Her writing has been featured in everything from The New York Times to O: The Oprah Magazine, as well as in such books as The Elephant in the Playroom, The Enlightened Bracketologist, and Behind the Bedroom Door. A Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Wesleyan University, Dolgoff lives in New York City with her husband and twin daughters.
