H&M Names New Head of Design and More Industry Moves
As Hennes & Mauritz heads to the Finnish line with its Marimekko collaboration, the Swedish apparel giant has replaced longtime design director Margareta van den Bosch with Ann-Sofie Johansson, who has designed for H&M since 1990. According to WWD, 65-year-old van den Bosch will ease into semiretirement, staying on as a consultant to H&M and overseeing the company’s projects with outside designers.
