Hiring Will Pick Up A Bit In Sept.

September hiring will tick up slightly as the rest of September plays out, the Society for Human Resource Management says in its monthly Leading Indicators of National Employment (LINE) report.

The upshot: Hiring will be slower than it has been in the recent months, but it’s much better than a year ago. Meanwhile, recruiting for certain key positions will become slightly more difficult, and new-hire salaries will bump up a little to compensate.
