Child Reporter Hilde Lysiak Adds a Book Deal

The story of Hilde Lysiak, a Pennsylvania nine-year-old who made headlines earlier this year with her efforts as a self-starting newspaper reporter and publisher, just keeps getting better. On Thursday, Scholastic announced that it has signed the precocious youngster and her father, journalist Matthew Lysiak, to write a series of four children’s books for its Branches category.
