Hearst Plans to Launch New Print Products in 2016

Long live print!

In a year-end letter to staffers, Hearst Magazines president David Carey said the company plans to launch new print products and partner with “next-generation content creators and technology companies” next year.

In keeping with the collaboration theme, Carey said all the new print magazines set for 2016 were created with other companies.

Carey also noted that Hearst’s digital business is picking up.

“Today, our domestic digital operations account for more than 30 percent of our overall U.S. profitability, a testament to the strategy initiated by our digital leadership three years ago,” wrote Carey.
