Harper's Fires Editor Christopher Cox

That was fast.

Harper’s editor Christopher Cox has been cut after just three months in the role. Cox had been with the magazine since 2010.

According to an email he sent to Gawker, Cox was let go because of “editorial differences with the publisher.” Apparently one of those differences was Cox approved a redesign of Harper’s cover; an idea staffers were debating.

You’d hope that it would take a lot more than this to get canned as an editor, but Harper’s publisher John MacArthur is not known for embracing change.
