NYT, LAT and FiveThirtyEight Reporters Headed to Guardian US

Congrats Judy Tong, Matthew Teague and Mona Chalabi.

After most recently covering elections and millennial culture for FiveThirtyEight, Mona Chalabi has found her next career role: data editor for the Guardian US. She is one of several new hires announced today; all are set to begin working for the paper in the coming weeks.

From the announcement:

Chalabi will work collaboratively across desks and bureaus to inject informed analysis into political and culture coverage. A frequent contributor to National Public Radio, she was previously to ESPN’s FiveThirtyEight a data journalist at the Guardian in London, following work at The Economist, Transparency International and the International Organisation for Migration.
